RAINFORESTS & WATERFALLS 

On a trip to Grenada, you will discover the island's natural beauty and plenty of adventures. The Gran Etang Lake National Park, with its crater lake at the heart of the park, is a must-visit! Surrounded by stunning rainforest, there is plenty of hiking trails for you to explore, plus your get to meet the local Mona Monkeys.

Mount Carmel Waterfalls are the highest waterfalls in Grenada, standing 70 feet tall. These stunning waterfalls are surrounded by natural beauty, with plenty of trees and individual park sections; a camera or video device is a must during this fantastic trip. You'll have plenty of chances to swim, both in the waterfalls and in the natural pools.

SPICES AND HOT SPRINGS 

St George's is the capital of Grenada, and no holiday would be complete without a visit to this colourful capital. The market square is great for picking up some local spices and gifts to take home. More spices from 'the spice island' can be found at the Dougaldston Estate, where you can buy several spices, including vanilla, cinnamon, cloves and the famous Grenada nutmeg.  

St George's is home to some excellent museums; for something a little more unique, try a visit to the 'House of Chocolate', which gives you the history of chocolate across the world and Grenada, plus it's a great place to pick up some of the local organic chocolate! 

St Andrew, also known as 'Big Parish', has a rich and long history; you will find the main town and several villages home to many important archaeological sites. If you head deep into the rainforest to the community of Calbony, you'll be amazed at the fresh cocoa, nutmeg, cinnamon, mangoes, avocados, bananas, plums, plantain and other exotic fruits. Keep going to find the soothing warm water of the hot sulphur spring surrounded by greenery that will make you feel at one with nature.
