ATACAMA DESERT 

In the north, the Atacama Desert is a must-visit region in Chile. Marvel at the secret gems of the desert, the enormous salt flats and crystal-clear emerald lagoons. Ride through the valleys and canyons or take to one of the hiking trails for some added adventure.

Just two hours from San Pedro de Atacama is the ‘El Tatio geyser field’. At 14,173 feet above sea level, this spectacular site is packed with geysers, boiling water fountains, fumaroles, hot springs, mud pools, and mud volcanoes.

Valle de la Luna, better known as ‘Moon Valley’ named after its moon-like appearance, is the perfect spot to catch the sunset display over the Andes’.

LAKES & MOUNTAINS

The Chilean Lake District comprises twelve major lakes and stretches 220 miles with the gorgeous backdrop of the Andes Mountains. Forests, snow-capped mountains, ski resorts and small local Chilean towns. Take a few days out to relax and explore the region.

PATAGONIA AND MOAI 

Head south to Chilean Patagonia, close to the border with Argentina, and you will find the Torres del Paine National Park. The park is an area of outstanding raw natural beauty, filled with dramatic carved rock formations, stunning waterfalls, rivers, stunning blue-coloured lakes, glaciers and an array of wildlife. The spectacular fjords and glaciers of the ice fields are mind-blowing; you’ll undoubtedly want to capture the scene on camera.

When on holiday in Chile, you won’t want to miss taking a trip to one of the most remote places on earth, Easter Island. This tiny island is located deep in the South Pacific, around 2,300 miles from the west of Chile. Covered in fascinating and enormous human-like stone figures known as ‘moai’ made out of volcanic rock date almost a thousand years and are the work of the early inhabitants of Easter Island.
