Soneva Fushi, the first "Robinson Crusoe" style hideaway in the Maldives, is set on a privately owned tropical island in Baa Atoll. From Malé International Airport, the resort can be reached by a scenic 30-minute seaplane flight, or guests arriving in the evening will depart on a domestic flight from nearby Dharavandhoo airport.
Although the island is one of the biggest in The Maldives, the Soneva Fushi resort is home to just 65 villas. Each luxurious villa opens to its own stretch of white sand beach and a bathroom that extends to a private garden.
