The Eastern and Oriental Express dress code leans more towards relaxed comfort, with smart casual attire being recommended for the day. Jeans and trainers should be avoided. During excursions to the local temples and religious buildings, it is asked that you are respectful of the culture and dress in line with what is deemed appropriate for the area.
During evening dining, guests are encouraged to dress up for the occasion so they can truly embrace the old-style glamour on board. Hence, the Eastern and Oriental Express dress code becomes more formal during this period, with men recommended to wear suit jackets and suitable evening wear for women.

When travelling on the Belmond Eastern & Oriental Express, every guest will be appointed their own private cabin beautifully finished with delicate fabrics and vintage touches.
Travellers can choose from three Eastern and Oriental Express cabins for their journey. Book the standard Pullman Cabin, the upgraded State Cabin which comes with an extra spacious recliner seat that converts to 2-single beds or the high-end, spacious Presidential Cabin with some extra special touches of luxury.
