WHAT WAS YOUR FAVOURITE MOMENT/HIGHLIGHT OF THE TRIP?
I enjoyed the tour of Florence, but the Capri tour was an absolute blast. There’s something truly delightful about being on the water.
WHICH DESTINATION(S) SURPRISED YOU THE MOST AND WHY?
Rome was the most surprising destination. I didn’t expect to find imperial Rome situated right next to the Colosseum.
FAVOURITE ACTIVITY OR EXCURSION?
The Capri tour and riding the lift to the highest point on the island were highlights—followed by a boat ride and a swim around the island.
FAVOURITE FOOD FROM THE TRIP?
It’s hard to choose just one! Every dish was incredibly delicious, making the entire culinary experience unforgettable.
BEST/STAND-OUT SERVICE YOU RECEIVED DURING THE TRIP…
Everyone was kind and respectful, but Marvellous Escapes truly stood out. When I received the wrong tour time for Florence, they quickly corrected it. I also want to mention the Florence staff for making my mum’s birthday extra special with a surprise!

Absolutely! I’ve already recommended this Italy tour to friends and family. I loved it so much I’m now planning a trip to Thailand with Marvellous Escapes for my 30th birthday!

WHAT WAS YOUR EXPERIENCE TRAVELLING BY RAIL?
The first day figuring out the train schedule was a little confusing, but I quickly got the hang of it. Once on board, it was smooth sailing—and business class was super comfortable!
WHAT WAS YOUR FAVOURITE ACCOMMODATION AND WHY?
All of our hotels were stunning, but my favourite was Hotel Berchielli in Florence. It had a terrace, a staircase leading to the bed, and two bathrooms—so unique and luxurious!
WHAT WAS YOUR EXPERIENCE OF BOOKING WITH MARVELLOUS ESCAPES?
An absolutely PHENOMENAL experience! I’ll definitely be booking with them again.
